Got a call from the Captain who was at Shustoke to say that he had a 1st Winter Med Gull in the roost by the time I got there he had also had an adult Med Gull. There were around 1,500 Black-headed Gull and a good few Common Gull, strangely there were very few large gulls.
I was a little late in getting over as they were ploughing the field behind my house and there were around 400 Black-headed Gull milling around but I couldn’t pick out a Med Gull – that’s one I wouldn’t mind on my garden list!
