Yesterdays Teal was still present on the main pool, with a total of 25 Pied Wagtail, 209 Canada Geese and a Little owl. A Raven flew over the fishing lodge mid-morning. The area around the fishing lodge also held Nuthatch, Jay and the first Willow tit to be recorded at the site this year. Another quick visit at midday produced 1 Hobby and 5 Buzzard over. Butterflys noted included 1 Small Copper and 1 Red Admiral. A phone call from S Cawthray around tea time saying their was a Marsh Harrier from Ladywalk drifting over the north of the pool.
