There was another good count of Shovler on the main pool this morning with 12 birds present early on, all but 1 had however departed by 9.00 in the direction of Ladywalk. Other than this the pool was very quiet with 15 Cormorant the only other notable count. A single Pochard was present, but there was no sign of any Gadwall today. Even the area around the fishing pool was relativly quiet with 1 GS Woodpecker, 1 Nuthatch, 5 Chiffchaff and 3 Bullfinch.
