No sign of the Redstart or the B N Grebe this morning. The area seemed very quiet today with 2 Little Owl, 1 Kingfisher, 1 Treecreeper, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 (male) Blackcap, 2 Pochard, 1 Gadwall, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Common Tern and 8+ Buzzard the only species of note. Numbers of Lapwing continue to increase daily with 77 birds counted this morning.
