A brief walk around the main pool this morning produced 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Common Tern, 3 Cormorant, 1 Little Owl, 7+ Buzzard and 1 Hobby as well as the juvenile Black necked grebe. Also of note was an increase in Lapwing numbers, with 32 birds present this morning (compared to a highest count of 10 in recent weeks).
